IntroductionA common cause of hyperparathyroidism is the presence of an ectopic parathyroid adenoma. Its diagnostic management remains a challenge and multiple imaging tests exist.Case reportA 39-year-old patient with hyperparathyroidism. At diagnosis, ultrasound and CT were not conclusive. MIBI scintigraphy has objectified a typical parathyroid ectopia in mediastinal position. Surgical resection confirmed parathyroid adenoma allowing standardization of laboratory patient.DiscussionMIBI scintigraphy is the most efficient technique for the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism, especially in the case of an ectopic parathyroid.  相似文献

A survey of 116 districts of nine lentil growing states covering 603 farmers' fields revealed a range of 0.7–9.3% mean plant mortality at reproductive stages in different lentil growing states of the country. The overall mean mortality was 6.3%. The main pathogens found associated with plant mortality at this stage were Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lentis (62.0%), Rhizoctonia bataticola (25.2%) and Sclerotium rolfsii (9.8%). The minor involvement of 1.8% was that of F. solani, F. chlamydosporum. F. equisetii, and R. solani. For the first time a national scenario of lentil wilt-root rot incidence at the crucial reproductive stage and their associated pathogens is reported here.  相似文献

 Foliar resistance to Ascochyta lentis is controlled at a single major locus by a dominant gene (AbR 1 ) in the lentil accession ILL5588 (cv ‘Northfield’). Flanking RAPD markers that are closely linked to the resistance locus in coupling phase were identified by bulked segregant analysis. Out of 261 decanucleotide primers screened 7 produced a polymorphic marker that segregated with the resistance locus, and all markers were found to exist within a single linkage group. Five of the seven RAPD markers were within 30 cM of the resistance locus. Log likelihood analysis for detecting QTL associated with the foliar resistance revealed that a single narrow peak accounted for almost 90% of the variance of resistance between the bulks. Preliminary mapping in an F3 population revealed that the closest flanking markers were approximately 6 and 14 centiMorgans (cM) away from the resistance locus. These markers should be useful for the discrimination of resistant germplasm through marker-assisted selection in future breeding programmes and represent the first essential step towards the map-based cloning of this resistance gene. The effects of temperature regimes on the radial growth rate of different isolates of Ascochyta lentis and pathogen virulence and host susceptibility were studied in the laboratory and growth chamber using different pathogen isolates, and lentil genotypes with varying levels of resistance to Ascochyta blight. The growth rate of most isolates increased as temperature increased up to 20°C and declined thereafter. In experiment 1, the highest disease severities were observed on cvs. Laird and Eston and the lowest on ILL5588. Mean disease severities were similar from 10 to 20°C but substantially lower at 25°C for all genotypes except ILL5588. In experiment 2, no significant differences were observed between the two mating types, or in their interactions with genotypes and temperatures. The interactions of genotypes with temperature and with isolates indicated that the relative susceptibility of lentil genotypes depended on temperature and on the isolates of A. lentis. These findings indicated that when temperature changes during epidemic development in the field, different isolates could predominate in the pathogen population at different times.  相似文献

A rare congenital defect in fusion of the anterior chest wall resulting in an extrathoracic location of the heart. Cantrell''s pentalogy is a congenital anomaly resulting from embryologic development defect and consists of the following: A deficiency of the anterior diaphragm, a midline supraumbilical abdominal wall defect, a defect in the diaphragmatic pericardium, congenital intracardiac abnormalities, and a defect of the lower sternum. 摘要 目的:总结26例中国先天性晶状体异位患者的基因诊断及晶状体异位的手术疗效。方法:回顾性收集2019年3月-2020年3月就诊于北京同仁医院眼科来自不同家系的双眼先天性晶状体异位患者26例共52眼。收集详细临床资料,提取外周静脉血全基因组DNA,应用靶向基因捕获技术筛查晶状体异常相关基因突变对所有患者进行基因诊断,采取微创晶状体-玻璃体切除或白内障超声乳化手术,记录视力、人工晶状体位置及主要并发症,采用配对t检验对术前术后最佳矫正视力进行比较。结果:患者均为汉族,男性14例,女性12例,年龄(21.2±15.2)岁。25例患者存在FBN1突变,1例为GJA8突变。22例(84.6%)可确诊为马凡综合征,3例诊为"潜在马凡综合征"。42眼采取微创晶状体-玻璃体切除类手术,7眼采取白内障超声乳化类手术。有31眼(59.6%)存在视网膜变性行网膜激光光凝。平均随诊时间(15.7±3.7)月,术后6个月及末次随访的最佳矫正视力(最小分辨角对数视力,0.30±0.16及0.21±0.11)均高于术前(0.76±0.31),差异有统计学意义(t=12.492,P<0.001;t=13.171,P<0.001)。术后所有眼的人工晶状体位置及稳定性良好,未发生视网膜脱离、黄斑水肿、人工晶状体脱位、人工晶状体偏位、继发性青光眼、眼内炎等并发症。结论:马凡综合征是此26例中国人先天性晶状体异位的主要病因,FBN1基因突变检测可为确诊提供有力证据,微创晶状体-玻璃体切除联合人工晶状体悬吊术效果好。  相似文献

Summary Intensely stained cells are found in the cerebellar white matter of the vermis and paravermis in adult rats after immunoreaction with an immune serum raised against glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD). The cells are similar in size to cortical Purkinje cells and three times the size of Golgi cells of the internal granule layer, and have a thick immunopositive cell process emerging from a welldefined cytoplasmic cone. In the cytoplasm, immunoprecipitates are more dense around the nucleus as in normally located Purkinje cells. The morphological appearance of the immunopositive cells suggests that they may be ectopically located Purkinje cells. The soma of the ectopic Purkinje cells is contacted by a few darkly stained terminal boutons. Data indicate that, in spite of the different cellular environment, ectopic Purkinje cells can develop not only the typical morphological pattern already described but also other intrinsic features, such as their typical inhibitory neurotransmitter.  相似文献
